Each Vesper Noctem 19-inch crash cymbal, part of the acclaimed Noctem Series, is a testament to meticulous artisan craftsmanship. Fashioned from a unique B25 alloy, the process begins with intense oven firing and precise hand hammering, carefully shaping the metal. This is followed by an immersion in a saltwater bath, designed to refine its inherent properties, contributing to its rich sonic palette.
A second firing prepares the cymbal for its final treatment: a distinct Diem Series-style lathe applied exclusively to its outer edges. This innovative method creates a striking visual and sonic contrast with the raw, un-lathed bell and center. The cymbal boasts a lacquered bronze finish with an unfinished bell, giving it a rugged yet refined appearance. Sonically, expect a dark, shimmery response that adds depth and excitement to your playing.
